Ever since he came onto the Formula 1 scene in 2007—at only 22 years old—he seemed to be dealing with male pattern baldness. Lewis Hamilton’s hairline was receding and his hair was noticeably thinning. Lately, though, many fans have started to wonder what has caused his recent rapid hair growth.

What Kind of Hair Transplant Did Hamilton Have?

During a hair transplant, healthy hair follicles are extracted from a donor area (typically the back of the head) before being implanted into the recipient area.
